Today I’m sharing my Me Made September creations. I was pretty ambitious last month and tackled 3 different projects to make 2 outfits. My original plan was to only make 1 outfit but realized I needed something to wear to a wedding in October so I threw another one in the queue. Nbd.
As always, I planned this month’s projects with the Seamwork Design Your Wardrobe Planner and My Body Model croquis for my sketches. These tools are always so helpful in deciding whether or not something will look good on my figure.
Here are my September Me Made makes:
Bottom – Seamwork Jenna Skirt | Mood Fabrics Light Blue 6 oz Hemp Denim Chambray
The Jenna Skirt has been great too and goes with a lot. You just can’t go wrong with a circle skirt. And the best part? IT HAS POCKETS! I can’t wait to wear this with tall boots, a red flannel, and a cozy scarf for fall. I think I’ll be packing this skirt for my upcoming Disneyworld trip as well, as it’ll be super cute to wear with my holiday shirt for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
Let’s talk the Seamwork Georgia Dress. THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE DRESS. I have always loved shift dresses and they make me feel great. This dress was super easy to sew up and took me about 3 days of after-work sewing sessions.
Thanks for checking out my Me Made September creations! If you’ve made any of these items, I’d love to hear about what fabrics you’ve used to make them. I am looking to expand my color and print palette!
