So it’s been about a month since I took my annual Disney trip and in 2018 I traveled to Disneyworld with my mom! I have always wanted to visit Disney during the holiday season, and I gotta tell you – it was magical. I crossed a bunch of things off my Disney bucket list – eating at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends, meeting Chip and Dale in their dino-onesies, getting prime seating at the Candlelight Processional, meeting Jack & Sally, scoring an alien popcorn bucket (and naming him Trevor), and attending the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Also, shout out to Ears from Wonderland for my adorable Santa Hat Mouse Ears. She is on Etsy and Instagram. Make sure to check her out, she has the best ears!
Another cool part of my Disneyworld trip was getting a photo at all of the colorful walls. The millennial in me thinks it’s a must-do to get a photo at all of Disneyworld’s most Instagram-able walls.
Now that’ it’s been a month since I’ve been, I’m ALREADY planning my next trip. Yup… I am planning my next trip. Actually, I started planning my next trip before I even went on my December trip!
I started planning because I’m hoping to run the 2019 Wine and Dine Half Marathon in Disneyworld on November 3! I started taking running pretty seriously last year and I have my sights set on a half this year! What can be more fun than a 13-mile trot through the Disney parks? I know, most people think I’m crazy. But it’ll be fun!
I’ve never done a run longer than a 10k, and I heard that Run Disney events are a great first half-marathon because it’s just so fun and magical. Also, it gives me a legitimate excuse to go back. So if anyone out there is experienced in Run Disney events, feel free to share your words of wisdom in the comments below! I’m also looking to make some friends to stay motivated in the process and maybe even run the event together! So if you plan on running the Wine and Dine Half in 2019, I’d love to meet you!
